My career has been built where strategy, commercial growth, operations and technology meet. Before global technology, I led regional operations across 16+ countries for one of Europe's largest financial brokerage groups, and advised companies on digital business strategy as an independent consultant.
At Akamai I led an Eastern Europe expansion mandate, co-founded the company's first Global Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence and stood up its EMEA Security Operations Command Centre. At Cisco I held P&L and growth leadership for enterprise cybersecurity and networking with Central Europe as my core market: I built the EMEA advisory practice, made partner enablement a growth engine, co-founded the startup incubator in Kraków, and delivered onto offshore drilling platforms and freight vessels.
At Check Point I built and scaled global services across the full cybersecurity portfolio, owning transformation, commercial growth and delivery, with Southern Europe as my core region. Today I run ContextZero with my wife, Renata Amare, and together we lead the Language Success Institute, which we co-founded in 2006.
What connects it all is translation: between engineers and boards, sellers and buyers, strategy and execution, in seven languages. It is the layer where most business problems are won or lost, and it is where I work.
